Summer Event Assistant - Summer 2026

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center (Sheboygan, WI) is currently seeking Summer Event Assistant’s for the Levitt AMP concert series from June 26th until August 13.th, 2026.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
  1. Set up tents, tables, chairs, and marketing signage.
  2. Report any questions to on-site supervisor.
  3. Continually check areas to ensure cleanliness during events and empty garbage, as required.
  4. Clean and break down equipment.
  5. Work collaboratively with team members through effective communication.
  6. Help ensure a safe environment for employees, patrons, food vendors, and bands.
Work Hours: 
Thursday afternoon and evenings between June 26th – August 13th.  The position hours are split into two designated times, in which we prefer individuals to work both designated times. We are looking for people to work the following:

1:00PM- 5:00PM for set up and 8:30PM- 11:30PM for tear down and clean up.

Experience:
  • Must be punctual and dependable for each event
  • Must be willing to complete a variety of tasks such as cleaning up trash and hauling supplies and/or equipment
  • Must be able to safely lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
